Join Melissa for an invigorating morning Pilates class. Open to those brand-new to Pilates as well as those with Pilates mat class experience, she’ll guide you through a classically structured class, including the basic principles and techniques, and the proper way to breathe. She’ll also be sharing about the history and philosophy behind the practice, as well as some of the physiological reasons why it’s so important to maintain the mind/body connection in these exercises (and, well, in everything!). You will leave this class energized and excited about building and improving core strength and endurance.
What to bring: Yoga mat if you prefer your own, but we can supply if needed, comfy stretchy clothes, journal and favorite writing implement. Class will be 20 mins of discussion and 45 minutes Pilates.
